The Church of Mary Magdalene is a Russian-Orthodox church with seven beautiful golden domes.  Located on the Mount of Olives, near the Garden of Gethsemane, it is easily one of the most recognizable landmarks of Jerusalem. The church was built by Czar Alexnder III in memory of his mother, Empress Maria Alexandrovna, but named after her patron saint, Mary Magdalene.
